No document preview for the shop
The shop dashboard does not include a document preview. The shop can see the order details and print settings needed to fulfil the order, but not the document contents.
Secure2Print is designed around a direct print workflow: the customer chooses the copies, the selected shop processes the order, and the Secure2Print Agent sends the document to the printer without a dashboard preview or customer-file download flow.
The shop dashboard does not include a document preview. The shop can see the order details and print settings needed to fulfil the order, but not the document contents.
The shopkeeper does not download the customer file from the Secure2Print dashboard. When printing starts, the Secure2Print Agent on the shop computer receives the job directly.
The customer sets the number of copies when placing an order. A shop cannot change the copy count. Available print settings such as colour, sides, paper size, and orientation may be adjusted while an order is pending, and the customer is updated.
The agent receives the document through a time-limited signed delivery URL and sends it to the selected physical printer without presenting a document-viewing screen.
The agent stores the job only in its application data folder while printing, using the order ID rather than the original filename. It removes that temporary file after each print attempt and clears leftover temporary files when it starts.
After a successful print, Secure2Print removes the cloud document and clears its stored file reference. If immediate removal fails, an automated cleanup job retries; unfinished orders are also cleaned up after expiry.
A shop can accept or reject an order and, while it is pending, adjust available fulfilment settings such as colour, sides, paper size, and orientation. It cannot change the customer's number of copies, and it does not receive a browser preview or a document download control.
